Before our nest emptied after our youngest of 3 children graduated...God began to re-fill our nest, and asked us to adopt a 2yr. old orphan while we were missionaries in Uganda. WE DID! He has brought much joy to our family. 8 yrs.later God made it clear that we were to adopt our two young grandsons ages 3 and 8 when our daughter couldn't care for them. In the order of Matthew 7:7... We asked...God answered; WE sought...we found purpose in Jesus; We knocked...and the Lord called us back to Uganda (now with THREE adopted children) to show many other orphans "The Way Home" just as He has shown us!
